Spinweber Strategies was born out of a desire for growth by its founder, Caitlin Spinweber. At a pivotal time in her career, she wanted to continue her work in automotive and corporate experiential marketing, but also reconnect with her roots in the nonprofit space. She created Spinweber Strategies or “Spin” as a way to combine the two.
With Spin, clients in all spaces get expertise in three key experiential marketing pillars:
1) building successful, long-lasting strategic partnerships
2) developing authentic and immersive consumer experiences
3) designing events that exceed expectations
Spin offers a unique blend of professional backgrounds and personal passions resulting in a client resource that meets both impact and business goals.
Who is Spin?
As one of seven Caitlin/Kaitlyn/Katelyn/Caitlyn/Catelynn’s in school, our Caitlin went by her last name, Spinweber. That eventually evolved into just Spin, and a new lifelong nickname was born. So feel free to use either when working with her. :)
With over 15 years of experience, numerous partnerships, and an extensive portfolio of events under her belt, Caitlin brings a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on expertise to every project. She’s an award-winning experiential marketer with a passion for building authentic relationships as the basis of any business interaction.
Caitlin honed her craft in the automotive and entertainment industries, working for brands including Audi of America, Marvel Entertainment, Saatchi & Saatchi (Toyota), and Jack Morton Worldwide (Cadillac). Her involvement in strategic partnerships and events afforded her the opportunity to work with an array of partners spanning nonprofit, hotel and resorts, sports, inclusion, culinary, thought-leadership, branded entertainment and more. With each project and partner, Caitlin prides herself on having a detail-oriented strategic vision and an agile mentality to problem-solving and achieving client goals.
Caitlin holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies + Psychology from the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!
She lives just outside DC in Arlington, VA with her dog, Banner (yes, as in Bruce Banner aka The Hulk) and supports clients across the US.
